Edmond R. Sousa, 92, of Somerset, passed away on April 17, 2008. Husband of the late Gilda (Medeiros) Sousa. Born in Cotuit, son of the late Manuel and Rose (Moniz) Sousa. He retired as food service director at Bishop Connolly High School in 1977.He was a Navy Veteran of WWII. He is survived by his son, Gregory Sousa & his wife Karen (O'Donnell) Sousa of Attleboro, sister-in-law, Beatrice "Nikki" Grant of Somerset several nieces, nephews & cousins. He was also brother of the late Enos Sousa. Funeral will be Tuesday, from the Silva-Faria Somerset His funeral Mass was celebrated in St. John of God Church. Pallbearers were Patrick and David Tierney, Robert Sousa and Paul Ventura. Committal Service was held at St Patrick Cemetery, Fall River. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to St. John of God Church, 996 Brayton Ave, Somerset 02726.
