Edna E. Gill, 78, of Swansea, passed away Thursday 11/4/10 at home. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late John & Annie (Hayden) Gill, she resided in Swansea since 1988. She had worked as a secretary for a short time in a local nursing home. Edna was an avid sports fan, and a member of the Somerset United Methodist Church, 841 Read St, Somerset. She was the sister of John Gill, Annie Dagwan & Gladys Albert (her late husband, George) all of Somerset, Arlene Souza (husband Donald) of Marrietta, GA, Peggy Rumbut (husband John) of Assonet; and twin sister of the late Ruth Moore. Several nieces and nephews also survive her. A service was held Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at our Fall River Chapel with Rev. Ellie Reed, pastor of Somerset United Methodist Church, officiating. Committal service and interment followed at Oak Grove Cemetery.
