Edna Mae (Corbin) Mais, 77, of Palmer, MA, wife of Alan A. Mais Jr, passed away on November 25, 2020, at the Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA, after a sudden illness. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Calvin R. Corbin and the late Muriel E. (Helliesen) Corbin.
She worked as an assistant property manager for many years and had a great talent for landscaping. She had a love of art and was an artist throughout her life and was a long-time member of The Fall River Art Association where she had participated in several art shows. A member of the Second Congregational Church in Palmer, she had enjoyed volunteering with the local Lion's Club and attending tag (yard) sales. Edna had wintered in Florida for the last few years.
Besides her husband, she is survived by: two daughters, their husbands and families, Candy & Michael Courchesne and Kelly & Randall Medina; eight siblings; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three siblings.
Following her cremation, a Memorial Gathering was held on Saturday, December 12th, in our Somerset Chapel. Edna's cremains will be put to final rest at a later time in Nathan Slade Cemetery, Somerset.
