Eduarda (Raposo) Piques, 57, of Fall River, passed away on April 30, 2008 at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford after an extended illness. She was the wife of Manuel Piques, with whom she shared 34 years of marriage. Born in Mosteiros, St. Michael, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Francisco & Dina (Dias) Raposo. A Fall River resident since her emigration in 1968, she worked as a seamstress for the former Cheryl Dress. Eduarda is survived by a son, Kevin M. Piques, a daughter, Amanda Piques, a brother, Jose Raposo, all of Fall River and several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Gilberta Ferreira. Her funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Anthony of Padua Church. Pallbearers were Jose Ferreira, Ken Alves, Fred Paiva, Jose Raposo, Octavio Farias and Manuel DoRego. Entombment Notre Dame Mausoleum.
