Eduardo Raposo Medeiros, 81, of Fall River, passed away June 1, 2010 after an illness. Husband of Maria Silvestre (Silva) Medeiros. Born in Ponta Garca, St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Virginio R. & Belmira (Soares) Medeiros. He enjoyed gardening and yard work. Besides his wife of 55 years, he is survived by his children, James S. and Edward S. Medeiros and Bertha Vasconcelos; grandchildren, James, Philip and Alexandra Medeiros and Kelsey Vasconcelos; a brother, Fernando R. Medeiros and several nieces and nephews. He was also father of the late Eduarda Margarida Medeiros. His funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Anthony of Padua Church. He was laid to rest at Notre Dame Cemetery.
