Eduino Carreiro, 49, of Fall River, passed away on June 17. Husband of Adriana M. (Claudio) Carreiro, he was born in Frequezia da Achadinha Conselho de Nordeste, Sao Miguel Azores and was the son of the late Leonildo Carreiro de Medeiros and Maria Clementina (da Silva). A construction laborer, he had worked for Giorgios, Modern Continental and Testa Construction Companies. He was a member of North America International Laborers Union, Local 22. Besides his wife, survivors include; son Peter Carreiro, daughters, Valerie and Shannon Carreiro all of New Bedford; stepsons, David and Paul Mota of New Bedford and Michael Mota of Bristol; a brother, Laudalino Carreiro; sisters, Bernadete Farias, Filomena Melo, Olga Marques, Fatima Cordeiro, Manuela Farias and Rozario Carreiro. He also leaves 2 grandchildren and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was also brother of the late Jose Silvestre and Marcos Carreiro. His funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Anne Church. Pallbearers David, Paul and Michael Mota, John Farias, Bruno Melo and Jose Melo brought Eduino to his final resting place at St Patrick Cemetery, Somerset, MA
