Edward "Frosty" Abdow, 90, of Fall River, husband of the late Oski (Michaelian) Abdow, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Azar and Allia (Francis) Abdow.. Edward was the owner and proprietor of Frosty Beverage which he successfully operated for over sixty years. He was a kind, true gentleman who was solely devoted to his loving family and business. An avid dancer, he also enjoyed roller skating in his younger days and playing football for the Fall River Rough Riders. He was a member of the Lebanon-American Society, Order of St. Sharbel, and the New England Independent Bottlers Association. Edward was also a devoted parishioner of the St. Anthony of the Desert Church. An Army Veteran, he served our country during the Korean Conflict and was a proud member of the 1437 ^th Engineer Tredway Bridge Company. He leaves: his children, Edward A. Abdow and his wife Susan of Rehoboth and Sonya Capuano and her husband Richard of Bristol, R.I.; four grandchildren, Alyssa and Brendan Capuano, and Jason and Sarah Abdow; several nieces and nephews; and his companion, Pheobe Armillotto. He was also the brother of the late Thomas, George, and Zelma Abdow. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, September 12th, in St. Anthony of the Desert Church followed by his committal with Military Honors at Notre Dame Cemetery.
