Edward Lapre, 75, surrounded by family, went to rest on May 24, 2012. Husband of Geraldine (Daniel) Lapre, and former husband of the late Lorraine (Goulet) Lapre. Son of the late Alfred & Eliza (Benjamin) Lapre. Besides his wife, of 39 years, he leaves: children, Mark (wife Patti) & Philip (wife Ellen) Lapre, Nancy Page (husband Russell), and Susan Simbro (husband Steven); siblings, Roland (wife Aurore) & Robert (wife Carol) Lapre, and Pauline McCann (husband Terrance); 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews, and many close friends. Also father of the late Cheryl Ann Picard Cambra; and brother of the late Alfred Rane and Corine Lawrence. After 40 years at Globe Manufacturing Co, he retired as division manager. He then went on to establish SCENTinel, a Title 5 inspection business. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, May 29, in St Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at Beech Grove Cemetery in Westport.
