Edward T. LeBlanc, Sr., 88, of Fall River, died peacefully at home on September 29, 2008. He was the husband of Rita (Daigle) LeBlanc. Born in Georgiaville, RI, son of the late Tilman & Exelia (Plante) LeBlanc. An Army Veteran of WWII, he worked as a personnel specialist for the federal government. He was manager of the former St. Mathieu Credit Union for many years. A rare book collector, he was also editor of the Dime Novel Round-Up. His book collection is on display at Northern Illinois University. Father of Margarita Medeiros, Suzanne Pimental, Edward T. LeBlanc, Jr., Robert F. LeBlanc, Louise Pleiss, Jacqueline LeBlanc; brother of William LeBlanc, Helen Grant, Pearl Avilla, Doris Henry and the late Norman LeBlanc. He was also husband of the late Florence (Roy) LeBlanc and leaves 10 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral Mass was celebrated in Holy Name Church at 10. Pallbearers Rodney Medeiros, Edward T. LeBlanc Jr., Kenneth Pleiss, Robert LeBlanc, John Pimental and Jay Klotz brought Ed to his final resting place at Notre Dame Cemetery.
