Eileen E. Borges, 70, passed away on September 15, 2008, at the St Anne's Hospital in Fall River, following an extended illness. She was the beloved wife of Antone H. Borges of Somerset. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Lionel Almeida and the late Edna (Medeiros) Almeida. After residing in Fall River for twenty eight years, she moved to Somerset in 1966. A graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School, Class of 1956, she was employed for twenty six years as a medical secretary for Dr Thomas Galvin. In addition to her husband, Antone, family members include a daughter, Karen (Sousa) Corinha, and her husband Jay, of Mansfield, MA, a son, Steven D. Sousa and his wife Allison, of Lenoir City, TN, a sister Jean Perry of Fall River, four grandchildren, Jason Corinha and Madison Corinha of Mansfield, Cameron Sousa and Jamison Sousa of Lenoir City, and several nieces and nephews.
