Eileen (Melanson) Hennessey, aka "Grandma Pudding Stone", 73, of Fall River, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, RI. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of Alice (DeMello) Melanson and the late Richard Warren Melanson.

In her younger years, Eileen was involved in the Girl Scouts. Eileen was a graduate of Bristol Community College and attended Bridgewater State University. She was a musician, playing the organ for many different churches around the area. She also loved playing guitar and traveling.

She leaves her son Dennis Hennessey and his wife Joy, of Swansea; two grandchildren, Edward James Hennessey and Alice Joy; and many nieces and nephews. Eileen was predeceased by her sister Joan Vaalardia.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Silva-Faria Somerset Funeral Home, 84 County Street, Somerset, Massachusetts.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 10:00 am in the Silva-Faria Somerset Funeral Home, 84 County St, Somerset. Committal Service and interment will follow in Vinnicum Woods Cemetery, Swansea.
