Eileen (Silvia) Mattos, 82, of Somerset, passed away on January 1, 2009. She was the widow of Arthur Mattos. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Joseph & Guilhermina (de Sousa) Silvia. Eileen worked as a dietary assistant for Charlton Memorial Hospital and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include a son, Paul Mattos of Somerset, a daughter, Joan Plummer of Somerset, sisters, Mary Duarte and Alice Silvia, both of Fall River, grandchildren, Kelly and Rob Plummer and P.J. and Joel Mattos, great grandchildren, Travis, Mackenzie and Chloe Plummer and several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Manuel Silvia. Her funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Thomas More Church. Entombment in Notre Dame Mausoleum.
