Elaine S. Pevide, 73, of Swansea, widow of Horatio Pevide, Jr., passed away at home surrounded by family on Saturday, April 23, 2022. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Joseph R. Santos and the late Mary Irene (Carvalho) Santos.

She was employed as a certified nursing assistant at Clifton Rehabilitation Nursing Center for over 30 years, retiring in 2020. Elaine was a member of Christ Temple in Tiverton, RI. She loved animals, especially cats.

She is survived by: a son, Christopher Guilmette of Aitkin, MN; a brother, Joseph Santos, Jr., (wife Donna) of Fall River; two grandchildren, Jayden and Christopher Jr.; and two nieces.

Her funeral arrangements were private.
