Eliana R. Primo, 89, of Fall River, wife of the late James "Snuffy" Primo, Sr., passed away peacefully on Friday, January 3, 2020 (one day after her daughter, Marie, passed away).

Born in Valparaiso, Chile, she was the only child of the late Guillermo and Juanna (Valencia) Caceres.

A homemaker, she loved animals, gardening, baking, and sharing her love through her cooking. A woman of high standards, Eliana instilled practical values and beliefs in all her children. She also enjoyed  rides to the ocean with her daughter, Marie. As a devout Catholic, she possessed an unwavering devotion to her church and desire to help anyone in need. In her declining health, Eliana was primarily cared for by her late daughter, Marie Emily, her granddaughter, Sarah, and grandsons, Sean and James.

She leaves: her children, Victoria B. King of Assonet, Victor P. Primo and his wife, Susan, of Florida, Teresa Primo, Sheila A. Primo, James A. Primo, Jr., and his wife, Judith, Peter J. Primo and his companion, Kathleen, and William C. Primo and his wife, Elaine, all of Fall River; seventeen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Marie Emily DeNardo who passed away one day before ( January 2, 2020).

Her Funeral Mass, together with her daughter's, was celebrated on Wednesday, January 8th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by their committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
