Elizabeth M. Pereira, 45, formerly of Fall River, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday August 2. Born in Fall River, daughter of the Juvelina Viveiros and the late Raul Diogo. Elizabeth was a caring, loving, selfless woman who would help anyone in need. She was a "girl's girl" who loved the beach, family gatherings, and long "mystery" rides. Elizabeth also enjoyed baking and crocheting. Besides her mother, she is survived by her three daughters, Ashley Pereira of Fall River, Kendra Barboza McFarlane and Rhiannon Barboza McFarlane, both of Boston; four brothers, Billy Diogo of Bakersville, CA, Lenny Diogo and Tony Diogo, both of Fall River, and Ralph Diogo of Providence, R.I.; two sisters Tilly Furtado of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Diane Rego of Fall River; her "center of her universe" granddaughter Laniya Young; and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her cherished dog "Muffie". A Prayer Service was held during calling hours in our Fall River Chapel on Monday, August 8th. Her cremation was private.
