Elizabeth M. Simas, 67, formerly of Winthrop St., passed away Thursday at Crawford Nursing Center. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late John M. (Jr.) and Clothilde "Tillie" Simas. An elementary school teacher, Liz worked in the Fall River Public School System for many years.  Beloved sister of Martin Simas (wife-Karol) and the late John M. Simas, III; loving aunt of Martin "Bud" (Jr.), Shay, Riley and Carter Simas, Kendra and Malachi Farrell, Neema and Xyler.  She also leaves an aunt, Minnie Chambers, and several cousins. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, January 18th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
