Elvira (Torres) Raposa, 88, of Fall River, formerly of Tremont St., died on April 11, 2008. Widow of Manuel Raposa, daughter of the late Antonio & Mary (Carvalho) Torres. A lifelong resident of Fall River, she worked for the former Har-lee Mfg. Co. She is survived by a brother, Daniel Torres of Swansea, sister, Mary Gracia of Somerset, several nieces and nephews and was sister of the late Leonard, Antone & David Torres. Her funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua Church. Pallbearers were Ronnie, Kevin and Corey Torres, Chris Perry, Marc Jailette and Tony Botehlo. She was laid to rest at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
