Elzira Medeiros, 92, of Fall River, passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2012. Widow of Manuel P. Medeiros. Born in Ribeira Seca de Ribeira Grande, St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Jacinto & Gorgina (Soares) Maciel. She loved to sew and crochet. Survivors include a daughter, Natalia DaCosta Maciel of Fall River; granddaughters, Michelle Souza and Myra DaCosta; great grandchildren, Devin Michael Furtado and Mckenzie Sandra Furtado; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great great nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Armanda Maciel, Olivia Maciel Costello and Alborne Maciel. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated in Holy Name Church. She was laid to rest at Notre Dame Cemetery.
