Emilia Cardoza, 82, formerly of Harrison St., died on Friday, July 31, 2009 unexpectedly. Born in New Jersey, daughter of the late Antonio Manuel and Purificacao (Lopes) Cardoza. She worked at the former Quaker Fabric Corp. for 25 years before retiring in 1989. She is survived by her two brothers, Antonio and Edmund Cardoza, and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral Mass was celebrated in Espirito Santo Church. Pallbearers Jose, Kevin and Adam Carreiro brought Emilia to her final resting place at Notre Dame Cemetery.
