Emilia Silva, 97, of Fall River, wife of the late Antone M. Silva, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 20, 2024, at Catholic Memorial Home following a long illness. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Silva and the late Belarmina (Vieira) Felicia.

Prior to her retirement, she worked as a seamstress in the local textile industry for many years. She loved cooking, feeding the birds, and watching the local sport teams. She also enjoyed going on bus trips to Canada and traveling to Florida. She, along with her late husband, enjoyed their frequent trips to the casino together.

She leaves her loving children, Dennis Silva and Antone M. Silva, both of Fall River, and Christina Loomis and her husband, Albert, of Warren, Rhode Island; her three grandchildren, Mark Silva, Antone J. Silva, and Melissa LeForte; one brother, Daniel Silvia of Somerset; and many nieces and nephews.  She was also the sister of the late William Silvia, Dorothea Torres, Harry Silvia, Eli Silvia, and David Silvia.

Her funeral arrangements were private.
