Ermelinda R. "Emily" Coroa, 84, of Fall River, passed away Monday after a short illness. Widow of Daniel S. Coroa. Born in Ribeira Grande , St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Manuel Antonio and Diamantina (Vargas) Rodrigues, she was a retired seamstress in the garment industry. Beloved mother of Filomena Turnblom (husband-John) of N. Carolina, Carma Pacheco (husband-Ron) of Fall River, Jennifer Hajder (husband-Eric) and Emanuel Coroa (wife-Cindy) both of Swansea; sister of Teresinha Medeiros and the late Palmira, Maria de Lourdes, Antonio and Manuel Rodrigues. Emily also leaves 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, October 24, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
