Esther A. O'Connell, 94, formerly of Tiverton, RI, passed away on Saturday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Widow of Daniel O'Connell. Born in Portsmouth, RI, daughter of the late Manuel & Urselina (Medeiros) Perry. A cloth inspector, she she retired from the former Bristol Knitting Mills. She d was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxillary in Tiverton and the ILGWU. Beloved mother of Gladys St. Michael of Fall River and Kathleen Hawkins of Columbia, CT; grandmother of Edward St. Michel (wife - Jeanne) and the late Carolyn St. Michel; sister of the late Joseph, Jesse, Gladys, Laura, Manuel and Antone Perry, Mary Silveira and Elsie Ferreira. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, November 9, in Holy Ghost Church in Tiverton followed by her committal at Pocasset Hill Cemetery.
