Estrela Medeiros, 83, of Fall River, wife of the late Edmund Medeiros, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 17, 2020 at Southpointe Nursing Home after a long illness.

Born in St. Michael, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Laurentina Alechandre.

Prior to her retirement she worked as a machine operator in the local textile industry for many years. An excellent seamstress, Estrela was also a very generous, kind, and loving woman. She very much enjoyed her trips to the casino, purchasing scratch tickets, and shopping, especially for clothes.

She leaves: her son, David J. Medeiros and his fiancé, Dawn Amaral, of Fall River; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; her daughter-in-law, Denise Medeiros; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late John M. Medeiros and the late Edmund A. Medeiros.

Her funeral arrangements were private.
