Obituary

Eva Hanoud, 82, of Fall River, wife of Henry M. Hanoud, died Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Clifton Rehab after a long illness. Born in Pawtucket, RI, daughter of the late Paul & Nora (Killizli) Mirza, she lived in Fall River most of her life. She had worked in the local textile industry and was a member of the ILGWU (now UNITE). She was also a member of the St Anthony of the Desert Blessed Mother Guild. She enjoyed traveling with her husband in their RV and was a member of the Family Coach Ass'n. She was a superb cook of Middle-Eastern foods. Besides her husband, of 65 years, survivors include: 3 sons, Monsour Hanoud (wife-Antoinette) of Berkley, Paul Hanoud (wife-Nancy) of Rehoboth and Jeffrey Hanoud of Fall River; 4 siblings, Julia Hudon of Nashua, NH, Karnum Demty of Attleboro, George & Mike Mirza both of Pawtucket, RI; 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Louis & Albert Mirza. Her funeral Mass was celebrated in St Anthony of the Desert Church. Pallbearers Joshua, Derek and Jeffrey Hanoud, Chad Trail and Chuck and David Demty brought Eva to her final resting place at Notre Dame Cemetery.
