Evaristo Cordeiro, 77, of Fall River, passed away on September 3 after a long illness. Husband of Leontina (Raposa) Cordeiro for the last 55 years. Born in St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Joao and Julia (Faria) Cordeiro. Survivors include: sons, John Cordeiro (wife-Connie) and Carlos Cordeiro (wife-Donna); daughters, Natalia Carreiro (husband-Joao), Cidalia Pereira (husband-Louie), and Isabel Lima (companion – Bob Lewis); sister, Fernanda Medeiros; 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Ana Maria Cordeiro and 3 siblings. His funeral Mass was celebrated in Espirito Santo Church. Pallbearers Jeremy, and Jordan Lima, John Pacheco, Jason Cordeiro, Bob Lewis and Kenneth Cabral brought Evaristo to his final resting place at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
