Evelyn Moniz, 97, of Fall River, passed away Thursday after a brief illness. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Enos Bonas and Maria Cunha formerly Bonas.  A retired textile worker, Evelyn was the beloved mother of Cynthia Thomas (husband-Michael); grandmother of Kelly Lynn, Christopher and Jeffrey (wife-Jillian) Thomas; great-grandmother of Dillon; sister of James, Lawrence and Louis Bonas and the late George, Enos and Leonard Bonas. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and cousins. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, November 21st, in Santo Christo Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
