Everett
Medeiros
d. Feb 21, 2021
Fall River
Everett Medeiros, 72, of Fall River, husband of Colette Medeiros, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at St. Anne's Hospital. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Fred Medeiros and the late Antonia (Alfonso) Medeiros.
Prior to his retirement, he was in charge of mechanical maintenance in the local textile industry for over thirty-six years. A United States Air Force Veteran, he proudly and bravely served our country during the Vietnam Era. A true outdoorsman, Everett loved fishing and hunting, especially for turkey, deer, and pheasant. He also very much enjoyed grilling and landscaping on his property. He was a long-time member of the Tiverton Rod and Gun Club. But most notably, Everett was a man of high integrity and was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who loved his family deeply.
Besides his loving wife of thirty-five years, he leaves: his children, Dr. Aprilyn A. Stitt and her husband, Eric, of Hawthorne, California, Jacqueline Kaminsky of Exeter, Rhode Island, Beverly Singh and her husband, Vic, of Dix Hills, New York, Everett Medeiros, Jr. of Somerset, and Alexander Medeiros and his wife, Heather, of Fall River; six grandchildren, Seth Medeiros, Jared Deleo, Nicholas Singh, Emily Singh, Karina Singh, and Daniel Singh; two great-grandchildren, Brayden Apt and Karlee Deleo; and many nieces and nephews.
Following his cremation, a Memorial Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, March 12th, in Holy Trinity Parish Church.
