Everett "Manits" Silva, 88, of Fall River, husband of Arline (Bray) Silva, died Saturday 8/15/15 at home. Born in Fall River, son of Antonio & Maria (Luz) Silva, he had worked for many years at the Newport Naval Base commissary. He was a parishioner and Eucharistic minister of the former St Louis Parish and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Tiverton Council. Besides his wife, of 64 years, he leaves: 2 daughters, Pamela Silva Kimberly (husband Larry) of Milford, CT, and Paula Oliveira (husband Glenn) of Rehoboth; 4 grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. He was the brother of the late Antonio Silvia. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, August 27th in St Mary's Cathedral followed by his committal at St Patrick Cemetery.
