Fernanda V. Raposo, 80, of High St., passed away Friday after a long illness. Wife of Manuel Raposo. Born in Pilar Bretanha, St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Joao and Maria Jose (Pereira) Viveiros, she worked at Quaker Fabrics for 30 years. Beloved mother of Filomena M. Arruda, John L. (wife-Connie), Edward M. and Dennis V. (wife-Sonya) Raposo; grandmother of Lucy Resendes, Erica Arruda and Nikita Croteau; great grandmother of Alexi, Logan, Gavin, Ava and Drayce; sister of Maria Pereira, Theresa Teves, Diniz, Jose and Eduardo Viveiros. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and her cat "Baby". Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, June 12, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
