Fernando P. "Cafaco" Pacheco, 67, of Fall River, passed away on Saturday. He was the husband of Alda M. (de Sousa) Pacheco, with whom he shared 39 years of marriage. Born in Pilar de Bretanha, St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Manuel B. and Emilia A. (Pereira) Pacheco. Fernando was an avid Sporting soccer fan and also loved fishing, doing word searches and being part of the Holy Ghost Feasts. Besides his wife Alda, Fernando is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Silvia and her husband, Justin of Assonet and Michelle Pacheco Costa and her husband, Domingos of Milford, MA; siblings, Lucilia Adelina Castro Pacheco of Santa Maria, Azores, Adelino Bonifacio Pacheco of St. Michael, Azores, Delores Pacheco Medeiros of Green Valley, Arizona, Carlos Pereira Pacheco of New Bedford and George Pacheco of East Providence, RI; Granddaughters, Autumn, Aubrey and Isabel; and several nieces and nephews. He was also father of the late Stephanie Pacheco and brother of the late Manuel Bonifacio Pacheco, Jose Bonifacio Pacheco, Angelina dos Reis Silva and Antonio Bonifacio Pacheco. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, October 30th, in Espirito Santo Church followed by his committal at Oak Grove Cemetery.
