Florence Baldaia, 89, of
Fall River, passed away on Wednesday. She was the widow of Arthur Baldaia. Born
in Fall River, daughter of the late Jorge F. and Maria (Soares) Machado. She
was lovingly known to most as "Nana", never had an enemy and prayed for
everyone she knew. Florence will be greatly missed by all of her family and
friends. Survivors include a daughter, Kathleen Dufresne (husband – Steven) of Fall River; grandchildren, Christopher Graves and Kelly Graves; great
granddaughter, Breanna Graves; former son-in-law, Linn Graves; and several nieces and nephews. She was also grandmother of the late Linn Graves II; great grandmother of the late Alexander Graves; and sister of the late Mary Bragga,
Edith Machado, Hortensia "Tennie" Duarte, Mayilda "Tillie" Carrita, Alice Delisle, George Machado and Adelaide Pimental. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on January 22, 2013 at Holy Name Church.
