Francelina Costa, 85, of Fall River, passed away unexpectedly. A lifelong resident of Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Francelina (Soares-Sousa) Costa. Francelina worked as a seamstress, was a licensed beautician and an avid Patriots fan. She was the aunt of David DelRoss of Newport, RI and John Costa of Saco, Maine and sister of the late John Costa, Hilda Costa DelRoss, Mary Costa, Beatrice Costa, Julio Costa, Manuel Costa and Jenny Costa Mosteiro. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, October 11, in Santo Christo Church followed by a committal service at St. Patrick Cemetery.
