Francelina (Viveiros) Sousa, 92, passed away Wednesday after a long illness. Widow of Custodio A. Sousa. Born in Sao Vicente, Sao Miguel, Azores, daughter of the late Jose and Mariana (Martins) Lima Viveiros. She came to this city in 1957 and was employed by the former Shelburne Shirt Co. until her retirement in 1980. Loving mother of Emanuel L. Sousa (wife-Hope), and Venilde Carreiro (husband-Carlos) both of Fall River and Gabriel Sousa (wife-Deborah) of Westport; sister of John Viveiros, Albertina Pimental and Irene Sousa all of Fall River, Jose Viveiros of Sao Miguel and the late Manuel Viveiros and Maria Conceicao Torres. She also leaves four grandsons, three granddaughters, four great grandsons, five great granddaughters, several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, July 23, in Espirito Santo Church followed by committal services at St. Patrick Cemetery.
