Frances C. Borge, 85, of Somerset, passed away August 15, 2014. Daughter of the late Michael & Veronica (Ozug) Ziemba. Widow of George Borge, vice president of Joseph Borge & Sons Sand and Gravel, formerly of Swansea. Mother of: Pam Figuerado of Somerset, with whom she resided for the past 25 years; Gary Borge (Leona Gattuso) of Cape Coral, FL; and Jo Ann Borge of Riverside, RI. Beloved grandmother ("Gam") of: Chad Figuerado (Emma Catarino) of Raleigh, NC; Keith Figuerado (Erica Barroso) of Fall River; Dr. Ryan Figuerado of San Diego, CA; and Brandon Borge of Fall River. Great grandmother of: Cristian Figuerado of Fall River; and Logan & Bella Figuerado of Raleigh. Fran was employed by Courtesy Demonstrators for 13 years at the Stop & Shop in Somerset. She was also a gourmet cook & baker, and enjoyed sharing her pastries & meals with family and friends. Mrs. Borge's family wishes to thank the Borden Unit staff of the Kindred Crawford Nursing Facility for the kindness, compassion and exceptional care given to Fran over the past several months. Private Burial Services were held at Nathan Slade Cemetery, Somerset.
