Frances A. Burakoski, 100, of No. Dartmouth, passed away peacefully at home on December 24th. Widow of John Burakoski. Born in New Hampshire, daughter of the late Matthew and Grace (Scanlon) DiStasio. A self-employed hairdresser, she ran her own salon on the New York-Connecticut border for many years. She was the beloved mother of Annette Kudzian of Ft. Worth, TX and the late Diane Grace Purdy; grandmother of Mary Pavao (husband-Dennis), Melinda Catalini, Kathleen Morrison, Lorraine Simpson (husband-Robert), Ernest Purdy, Jr. (wife-Kelly), Michael Purdy (wife-Mary Ellen) and the late Diane Whitecross; sister of the late Christine Bonnel. She also leaves many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Following her cremation, a Memorial Mass was celebrated on Saturday (1/11) in Holy Name Church.
