Francis R. Bird III, 33, of Fall River, husband of Sara (Melo) Bird, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday August 9, 2018, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Son of Francis and Marie (Silvia) Bird of Fall River, he worked for many years as a tow truck driver with various local area towing companies. More recently he was employed as a personal care assistant.

He enjoyed boating and fishing, as well as motorcycles, but mostly loved being with his kids, Cameron and Alexis Bird. He also greatly enjoyed helping people.

Brother of Joshua Bird (fiancée Ashley Parziale) of Fall River, and uncle of Sheayla, Joseph, and Evelyn Bird, he is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Relatives and friends gathered for calling hours in our Fall River Chapel on Tuesday, August 14th. His private cremation followed.
