Francis "Frank" J. Cordeiro of Fall River passed away on Monday, October 16, 2017. He was the husband of the late Geraldine (Clarke) Cordeiro. He was born in Swansea MA, was the son of Joseph and Victoria (Correira) Cordeiro.  In his younger years, Frank was active in politics and was formerly on the Executive Board of the Bakery and Confectionery Workers Union. Frank had retired from Quaker Fabrics. He was an avid Patriots fan and loved to gamble.  Foxwoods was his favorite place to be. He cherished his dog Gracie. Mr. Cordeiro was the beloved father of Steven F. Cordeiro and his wife Lucia of Fall River, Sherry Cordeiro of Boston, and longtime family friend Kerry Darden. He was also the brother of Tony Cordeiro and his wife Michaelina of Portsmouth, Rhode Island, Emily Roderick of Fall River and Mary Valentino of Fall River. Mr. Cordeiro was the grandfather of Matthew Cordeiro and Brittany Almeida. He was the great grandfather of Noah Almeida and Marley Almeida.  Frank was blessed with many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Joe "Sleepy" Cordeiro, John (late wife-Pat) Cordeiro, Annie (late husband-Gene) Dias and Rosey Alfonso. His Funeral Service was be held on Tuesday, October 24th, in our Fall River Chapel followed by his committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
