Francisco M. Albergaria, 62, of Fall River, husband of Paula (Dias) Albergaria, passed away at home surrounded by family on Saturday, November 30, 2024, after an illness. Born in Ponta Delgada, St. Michael, Azores, a son of Francisco M. Albergaria of Fall River and the late Ana Maria (Medeiros) Albergaria, he emigrated to Fall River in 1979.

For many years he was a proprietor of several local area dry cleaning businesses, Abrite and Sparkle of Fall River and Community Cleaners of Somerset. In  addition to being a big Sporting fan, Frank enjoyed fishing, antique cars and camping.

Besides his wife of 37 years, and his father, he is survived by: three children, Nicole, Briana, and Nathan Albergaria all of Fall River; five siblings, Antonio Albergaria (wife Minda) of Assonet, Nuno Albergaria (wife Ana) of Fall River, Ana Sarmento (husband Dave) of Fall River, Joao Albergaria of St. Michael, Azores, and Paul Albergaria (fiancée Daniela) of Westport; and many nieces and nephews.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, December 6th, in Espirito Santo Church followed by his committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
