Francisco A. "Frank" Pavao, 51, of Fall River, died unexpectedly Wed., Jan. 8th at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Bretanha, St. Michael, Azores, son of Mariana (Rebelo) Pavao & the late Francisco Pavao. He emigrated to Fall River in 1973 where he resided most of his life; he also lived in California for many years. A jack-of-all-trades, he worked many jobs, including 10 years with Hewlett Packard in California and more recently for a short time with Mid-City Steel in Westport. He had a passion for fixing cars, model-building & fishing – and especially enjoyed helping others, as he had a big heart and was never afraid to get his hands dirty. Besides his mother, he leaves: a daughter, Alana, who lives on the west coast; 4 siblings, Maria Manuela Estacio (husband Francisco), Margaret Nicolosi (husband Angelo), Louis (fiancée Donna) & Cindy Pavao; nieces/nephews, Jason Estacio, Jonathan, Melissa & Jennifer Pavao, Angelo Jr. & Lexi-Bella Nicolosi; several aunts, uncles, cousins & grandnieces/nephew. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, January 13, in Espirito Santo Church followed by his committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
