Francisco T. Cabral, 83, of Hanover St., formerly of Varley St., passed away Friday after an illness. Born in Fall River and a lifelong resident, he was the son of the late Antonio and Maria da Gloria (Pacheco) Cabral. A graduate of BMC Durfee High School, he was his class valedictorian. He went on to graduate from Brown University and Rhode Island College of Pharmacy. After becoming a licensed pharmacist, he, along with his late brother, Tony, acquired and continued their late father's business, the former Ventura Pharmacy on Bedford St., for many years. Frank was also an Army Veteran of WW II. He was the brother of Paul Cabral (wife-Dorothy) of this city, Maria C. Goldberg (husband-Ronald) of NJ and the late Christina Maggiacomo and Antonio T. Cabral. He also leaves a sister-in-law, Laudalina Cabral; his caretaker, Manuel C. Carrelas and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 23, in our Fall River followed by a committal with Military Honors at Oak Grove Cemetery.
