Frank Carreiro, Jr., 80, passed away unexpectedly on March 24th in Naples, Florida. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Frank Carreiro, Sr. and Mary (Andrade) Carreiro. He is survived by: his wife of sixty years, Leonora (Mello) Carreiro of Naples; his  daughter, Tammy L. LaMothe and her husband Richard of Naples; a son, Michael Carreiro and his wife Patty of Somerset;  three grandchildren, Jarid M Carreiro and his wife Ali of Somerset, Jenna Lee Carreiro of Los Angeles,CA and Adam LaMothe of Brooklyn, NY; two great- grandchildren, Jamison and Brielle Carreiro. Frank and Lee lived in Somerset for forty-three years before moving to Florida in 2016. He retired from the Fall River Gas Company in 1999. Besides his love for his family and friends, Frank loved to swim, read and play computer free cell. He will be remembered as an avid sports fan of the Patriots, but his lifelong passion was loving the New York Yankees, much to the chagrin of most of his Red Sox family and friends. Following his cremation in Florida, His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, April 7 ^th , in St. Patrick Church, Somerset. His cremains were later buried in the parish cemetery.
