Frank Medeiros, 81, of Fall River, passed away Thursday after a brief illness. Beloved husband and soul mate for 61 years of Olive (Tavares) Medeiros. A lifelong resident of Fall River, son of the late Manuel & Mary (Perry) Medeiros. A maintenance man in the Bristol County Courts for many years, he retired from the 2nd District Court in 1997. Frank's life was centered around his family and he loved to travel. He was a fixture at church feasts with his "Mr. Frank's" Popcorn Truck and belonged to the Liberal Club, St Johns Club, and St Anthony's Band Club. Loving father of Beverly Ann Alberto (husband Antonio F.) and Frank A. Medeiros (wife Debra); proud grandfather of Jennifer & Kyle Alberto, Megan, Nicole & Kelly Medeiros; brother of Urban Medeiros, Wilhermina "Gerty" Perry, Gilda "Peggy" Souza and the late Manuel J. & John Medeiros and Angelina Carvalho. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, June 28, in St. John of God Church, Somerset with a committal service to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
