Frank J. Rodrigues, 55, of Cranston, Rhode Island, husband of Heather-Marie (Wood) Rodrigues, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 8, 2021 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Gil and Florence (Lafleur) Rodrigues.

Prior to his passing he was a Correction Officer for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for many years, a position he truly enjoyed. An avid Food Network fan, he loved cooking, seafood, Portuguese food, and bacon……. not to forget his "obsession" with hot sauces! He also loved anything military, such as the vintage program, MASH, Blue Bloods, and NCIS. He enjoyed many years of running marathons, including the Pell Bridge 5K, playing cards, bingo at Foxwoods, and traveling to such places as Florida, New Hampshire, and Pennsylvania. But what was most important to Frank was spending quality time with friends and family, especially his daughters. Frank was highly respected and loved and will surely be missed by so many.

Besides his loving wife of sixteen years, he leaves: his two daughters, Jocelyn Rodrigues and Cassidy Rodrigues, both of Harmony, Maine. He was the grandfather "Papa" of Leonardo Pereira, who he lovingly referred to as "Baby Bear"; brother of Douglas Rodrigues and his wife, Isabel Santos, of South Dartmouth, Gregory Rodrigues of Fall River, and Suzanne Rodrigues of Fall River; and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his cherished dogs, "Mollie" and "Niles", and cats, "Jack" and "Suzy". Frank was also the father of the late Katelyn and Amanda Rodrigues and brother of the late Michael and Vincent Rodrigues.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 13th, during a visitation period in our Fall River Chapel. His private cremation followed. PLEASE OMIT FLOWERS. Kindly consider a donation in Frank's memory to: Dixie Girl Dog Rescue, 3557 Cahaba Beach Road, Birmingham, AL 35242.
