Obituary

Gail R. Conforti, 74, of Fall River, wife of Orlando C. Conforti, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Charlton Memorial Hospital following a long battle with C.O.P.D. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Robert Denault and the late Margurite (Cusick) McGinn. Prior to her retirement she worked as clerk for the Fall River Philanthropic Burial Society for many years.

She loved cooking, baking, crafts, crossword puzzles, dining out, and, in her younger days, the beach and biking. She also enjoyed summering in Westport and traveling to such places as California, Nevada, and Florida. But most notably, Gail was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who relished time she spent with all her family, especially her grandchildren.

Besides her loving husband of fifty-six years, she leaves her children, Keith M. Conforti and his wife, Joyce, of Cohasset, Darin D. Conforti and his wife, Lori, of Maryland, and Rico A. Conforti of Fall River; her grandchildren, Nicolas, Isabel, Ryan, and Jason Conforti; her brother, Guy Denault of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Robert Denault.

The Conforti family would like to extend a special thankyou to all the nurses and staff at Charlton Memorial Hospital for the exceptional care Gail received during her final days.

Her  Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, March 29th, in St. Joseph Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery in Fall River.
