Gary A. Marino, 59, of Tiverton, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday. He was the beloved husband of Beverly A. (Emond) Marino, with whom he shared 38 years of marriage. Born in Fall River, son of the late Salvatore Marino and Eva (Alfonso) DiCarlo, he was an employee of Raytheon for the last 32 years. Gary was involved in sports his entire life, having played for Columbus Park Little League, Holy Rosary Basketball and Immaculate Conception CYO. He also played for the FR Scholarship Slowpitch Softball League and was inducted into their Hall of Fame in 1998. He was a member of the Italian Progressive Club. Besides his wife, Gary is survived by a son, Corey Marino (girlfriend – Maia Chrupcala); his mother-in-law, Barbara Emond; a brother, Dane DiCarlo; a sister, Shirley Medeiros (husband – Joseph); and several nieces and nephews. He was also brother of the late Kevin J. Marino and Dino DiCarlo. His funeral Mass was celebrated at Holy Rosary Church. He was laid to rest at Pocasset Hill Cemetery in Tiverton.
