George Miranda, 56, of Fall River, passed away at home surrounded by family on Monday, December 12, 2022, after a long illness. Born in Fall River, he was a son of Joseph Miranda of Fall River and the late Olivia (Cabral) Miranda.

Prior to his illness, he had worked for many years in the local textile industry. He enjoyed rooting for his favorite NFL team, the San Francisco 49ers, and Xbox gaming.

Besides his father, he is survived by two siblings, Joseph Miranda, Jr. (wife Donna Novo) of Dighton, and Christina Arsenault of Fall River, and a nephew, Dyson Miranda of Dighton.

His Funeral Service was held on Friday, December 16th, in our Fall River Chapel followed by his committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
