Georgina (Brilhante) Martin, of Fall River, wife of Louis Martin, Jr., passed away at Charlton Memorial Hospital on Saturday, December 4, 2021, after a short illness. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Brilhante and the late Deolinda (Rapoza) Brilhante.

She worked for a number of years in the local textile industry, and was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union ("ILGWU") now called UNITE.

Besides her husband, of 56 years, she is survived by: seven siblings, Isaura Aguiar of Fall River, Delores Brilhante of Fall River, Maurine Brilhante of Fall River, Pauline Luciano (Georgina's twin) of Fall River, Natalie Briand (husband Leo) of Somerset, Hilda Ferry of Fall River, and William Brilhante of Fall River; and several nieces and nephews. She was also a sister of the late Lillian Rivest, Manuel Brilhante, and Daniel Brilhante.

Her Funeral Service was held on Thursday, December 16th, in our Fall River Chapel followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
