Gerald F. Lord, 72, of Westport, husband of Diane (Baker) Lord, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 in the comforts of his home following a brief illness. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Joseph R.E. Lord and the late Geraldine (Santos) Lancier.

He was owner and operator of Westport Sign & Crane Co. for many years. He loved boating, cars, motorcycles, and cranes. He also enjoyed his frequent trips to Delekta Pharmacy for a coffee cabinet. But what was most important to Gerry was spending quality time with all his family and friends.

Besides his devoted wife of twenty-five years, he leaves his loving son, Dr. Jason W. Lord and his wife, Michelle, of Dartmouth; his precious granddaughter, Scarlet Jay Lord; many nieces and nephews; and his cherished dog "Bella".  He was also the brother of the late David Lord.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, April 13th, at Our Lady of Grace Church in Westport followed by his committal at St. Patrick Cemetery in Fall River. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation in Gerald's memory to: The Lahey Liver Fund, 41 Mall Road 4 East, Burlington, MA 01805.
