Gerald L. Oliveira, 68, of Fall River, passed away unexpectedly on November 1, 2016. He was the son of the late James and Mary (Dias) Oliveira. Gerald was an accomplished guitarist and played in several bands. His talent was revered by his peers. He was raised by his paternal grandparents, Lafayette and Louise Oliveira after the passing of his mother.

"Gerry" is survived by his twin sister, Geraldine L. Oliveira, his aunts, Lydia Andrews and Mary Rose, his uncle, Lafayette Oliveira, and many cousins who are considered more like brothers and sisters. He also leaves his lifelong friends, Bruce Ferreira and Dennis Santos. He was the nephew of the late, John Oliveira, Edmund Oliveira, Irene Holland, Rita Lund, and Evelyn Perry.

Following his cremation, His Memorial Mass was celebrated on Thursday, November 17th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church. Interment of cremains will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider making a donation in his memory to:
