Gerald R. Williams, 59, of Somerset, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018. Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Edward D. Williams and the late Alice (Lima) Williams, and had also resided for a time in Swansea. A fan of all the New England professional sports teams, he enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with friends.

With an endearingly silly sense of humor, he was always quick to be funny, as he enjoyed making people laugh – he even had for himself a favorite nickname, "Bubba." Gerald also had brilliantly warm and expressive eyes; and his positive spirit will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by: a brother, Wayne Lima of New Bedford; his former caregiver of twenty years, Armanda de Melo of Swansea; his corporate legal guardian at Arc, Gianna Rocchio of Fall River; and friends & staff at his group home.

Following his cremation, a Funeral Service was held on Saturday, January 26th, during calling hours in our Fall River Chapel.
